Today I decided to purchase two books, "Precious" and "How to Talk So Kids Will Listen & Listen So Kids Will Talk." I have mixed feeling toward the Kindle. Technology has defintely changed a lot of things. Lets see there was the eight track that was replaced by the record, the record was replaced by the cassette, the cassette was replaced by CDs, and CDs have now have been replaced with ipods. I can see technology replacing books, but I want to keep my books. There is nothing like having a book collection, your very own personal library at your disposal. My visit to Books a Million today just opened eyes. Can the Kindle really replace all of these books and magazine? The experiece of seeing kids pulling books of the shelves and reading them. And pursuading their parents to purcase their favorite book was such a delight to see.

Technology has defintely made my life easier. The typewriter was horror in my opinion. I cringe when I have to use that dinosaur. My visist to the local library is very limited. With the help of the search engine, I cant recall my latest visist to my local library.

But the Kindle will never replace my paper book or hard back book. I want my bible sitting on my coffee just in case the devil decides to pay me a visit. The Kindle cant help with that.
